Evening: Akha Welcome Evening

· 1^st day: VISIT DAY + CUT BAMBOO

Morning: Visit of the important places of the village

Visit to ‘Pima’ (the old man of the village)

(Lunch at Akhajulyah guesthouse)

Afternoon: Cutting bamboo in the forest

Evening: Learn a little bit of Akha language and Akha culture

· 2^nd day FIELD DAY

Day in the field with families.

Planting, harvesting the rice, corn, ginger, chilies…depending on the season.

(Lunch in the field)

Evening: Free time

· 3^rd day BAMBOO HANDICRAFT DAY + SCHOOL DAY or TREKKING DAY

Learn how to do some handicraft with bamboo (cups/ baskets) or how to build some gates/fences.

(Lunch at Akhajulyah guesthouse)

Spend time with children in the school

(Games or Teaching English or do music)

May be spent in a family

Trekking to an other Akha village

Lunch in an other village

· 4^th day : DEPARTURE in the early morning
